Hi Everyone! I can't believe we're up to challenge 14 already at Sketch and Stash, it's gone so quick, especially as we're only a fortnightly blog! We have the following sketch for you to follow this week and an additional optional challenge of using your new or neglected ribbons.
I used one of the stamps from the Birthday collection and coloured him with Lyra Aquacolours. I cut him out and put him onto some 3D pads for a bit of dimension and then popped him onto a Craftwork cards scalloped card and added the matching Popcorn sentiment stamp, my neglected ribbon from my stash and a felt flower which I built up from the freebie gift in Papercraft Inspirations this month.
Please have a look at the gorgeous cards on the blog and join us if you have the time! We have a download package from The Little Yellow Company to give away this fortnight too!
Today is also Cute Daisy May time and the challenge this week is 'Hot Colours' so you can use, yellows, oranges, reds and bright pinks! I think you may all need your sunglasses on for this one!!
I used my brightest papers from a K & Co stack and popped on some Prima blooms, Basic Grey buttons (these are really cute but the touch of them goes through me!!) some card candy and a Funky Hand sentiment from the Now That's Funky CD, and they just so happen to fit perfectly inside my blue Woodware scalloped circle punch!!
The image I used is from Sheet 37 available here which has some very handy accessory images too!
Well, that's it for me again today. I have got to do an extra 2 shifts at work this week as it's stock take time! Although I have a desk job now, I love getting stuck in on the shop floor so I'm looking forward to getting my gun and zapping away!!
My Best Buddie Arline has started to blog again and is hoping to start doing some card challenges soon, in the mean time she has posted some piccies of her wedding dress on her blog and has a cute little picture of Dylan in his Paige Boy suit if you'd like to have a look!
Have a great day!
Love Becky xx
