Cute Daisy May and My Time to Craft Challenges

Hi Everyone! I hope you all had a good weekend, I thought it was going to be a scorcher but it was a total wash-out here which was OK though as I spent all weekend at work!! The rain has made the grass grow very fast though so I'll be out mowing this afternoon as it's been a lovely day today! I've just got back from a shopping trip with Dylan, I had to smile because it seemed like every single parent was stressed out with their children, it made me realise that Dylan's behaviour could be worse ha ha!!

Anyway, enough of the waffle, here is my card for the Cute Daisy May challenge where the theme this week is 'Friends' and here is the card I made...

I adore this image from sheet 53, and it was strange because after I'd made the card I realised that it would be a great card to send to my friend Arline as we picked out my purple bridesmaid dress yesterday! It's a bit like this dress except it has a halter neck which ties in a bow at the back, and it's not as wide at the bottom and it has a few ruffles on the waist! I added some gems to the image and the ribbon was a freebie from a mag.

And now onto the challenge this week at My Time to Craft which is 'Floral Frenzy' so you can use as many flowers as you want on your card, and this is what I came up with...

I used some K & Co papers which have been in my stash forever and a pretty Annie stamped image (from Jill) and then I just added a Prima flower over the top of the paper on the DP to add a bit of texture.

Well, that's it for now... I had some exciting news last week but I can't let you know the details at the moment as it's a secret... so look out for that!!

Hopefully I will have some time for some challenges tonight so I may well be updating my blog a few times this week!!
