Here is my card for the Dottie's World Sunday Challenge which is a fabby sketch this week (go to the blog to check it out!) I love this download from Dottie at home, it's called Knitting Dottie and reminds me of myself, relaxing on the sofa with my kitty cat at my side! I coloured Dottie with basic colouring pencils, working them up until I liked the shading and then I tackled the sketch. I cut the scalloped edge free hand and added patterned paper (I went for a stitched effect paper to tie in with the knitting). I used my favourite colour scheme for the card, brown, pink, blue and vanilla and I paper pricked all around the scalloped frame to add a bit of interest. And then finally I added a few brads, a gorgeous pink bloom and a sewed on button.
Thanks for looking once again, Love Becky xx

I love everything about this Becky, buy especially the colours. Like the paper pricking too - it really adds something.
Great interpretation of the sketch!
Fab card. I love the colours and can't believe you did the scalloping by hand - it is so even!! Gorgeous Dottie too.
