Just thought I would add a few pictures of what I've been up to this past week...
Firstly I made this for my Bestest friend Arline to say thanks for being involved in a wonderful wedding... the cross stitch only took a few days but the backstitch seemed to take forever!! I also decorated the frame with acrylic paint and twinkling H20's so give it a rustic yet shimmery feel and then I added some gems, a frame and a flower for good measure...
And I also made her this cushion using a Craftwork Cards Owl template... it was a 'Just Because' present really as she's soon to be decorating her living room red and brown and she loves owls...
...And it was also a Thank You gift as myself and Dylan went with her and her new hubby Steve to Chester Zoo last Monday... here are some photos... Steve and Dylan in a car...

And as always Dylan's favourite part of the day was the food... this was his 1st ice cream (he had 2 on the day!!)
And here is me and Arline with my faves the Giraffes, they were so cute and elegant at the same time!!
It's really hard to get good photos of the animals except if you have a good zoom on your camera (which I don't!)And finally I also got my hair cut... Before...

Just need to learn how to make it look so straight and shiny again he he!!Hope you're all well, back to school for my little munchkin on Wednesday... I'm gonna miss him :0(

Your crafty creations are wonderful, can't believe the cross
stich was done so fast, would take me a year.
See you got to Chester Zoo, weather looks good, I hope you all had an excellent time. It's such a special place for me , taking pictures of the animals is hard but resisting buying the soft toys in the shop is impossible.
