I'm a bit late with this preview of a new kit from The Creative Cottage, you can buy the whole kit with cupcakes, papers and embellishments, or you can now buy just the papers from all of the previously released kits for just £1.99 each... if you'd like to find out more please visit The Creative Cottage Blog...
I like to print the images onto card stock and then go over the colours with ProMarkers, there's nothing at all wrong with the printing quality I must stress, it just gives you that Stamped and coloured effect with very minimal effort (which is always handy!!)
A Spoon Full of Sugar Challenge
And now for a couple of challenge cards... The first is for A Spoon Full of Sugar where you can pick either blue or pink to be combined with brown... well as I'd already done a pink and brown card for my previous card I decided to pick Blue, there is a gorgeous Whimsy Stamp Santa stamp to be won and check out the DT cards, they are stunning! And here is the card I made...
I have used a new image from Pollycraft which is being released really soon (teasing you here!!) her name is Codi and you've already met her friend Felicity (she was the Friday Freebie last week). Anyways, I have coloured her with ProMarkers and used up loads of scraps in order to create a multi-layered card. And my trusty Pollycraft Roundabouts sentiments have been used too!! You may be seeing this card again in the future as there's a little secret within, but I'll share that as and when I can!!
Charisma Cardz Challenge
And finally here is my card for the Charisma Cardz Challenge where the theme is Christmas and they have a gorgeous set of Christmas stamps to give away this week! Again I've used a Pollycraft image called Suzy and again she was coloured with ProMarkers and popped onto some HOTP papers with a Roundabout sentiment and card candy added for good measure!
I went Christmas shopping last night with my Bezzie Mate, we had a hot chocolate first which turned into a bit of a disaster, first it was topped about 4 inches high with cream with 4 marshmallows popped in, my friend took a photo it was so impressive, but then I poked my spoon into the chocolate and it just erupted like a volcano and went all into the saucer, it was so funny! Once the cream and marshmallows were eaten though there was a buttery like residue in the hot chocolate drink which was just horrible (must have come off the cream) so the drink was left which was good in a way as it saved a few extra calories!! But shopping was great and we both got back to the car loaded down and done!!
Thanks for looking once again!
Love Becky xx
