I've been doing a spot of late spring cleaning this week so crafting and blogging has taken a back seat, hence why this post is a few days late (lots of hand slapping for me!!)
I decided to scrub all my cream carpets, I had my eye on a Bissell but altogether it was £250 with the cleaning solution, so I decided to do it the old fashioned way and work the old biceps lol!!
Anyway, back to the crafting... My first card is for Cute Daisy May's Monday Challenge where the theme this week is 'Three of a Kind' and here is my card...
I made this card in the middle of my cleaning spree, I think I was loving the clean lines lol!! My 3 of a kind are my hearts, and I also added 3 gems for good measure too!
And the theme this week at My Time to Craft is 'A Bird in the Hand' and here is my take on the theme...
I must confess to being a bit of a twitterer, I have a couple of regular birdies who come to visit my garden, luckily I have 2 very docile cats who couldn't catch a bird if their life depended on it! This bird looks like one of my garden friends, he is from Joanna Sheen's Cardmaker's Year CD rom and I printed him onto cardstock and highlighted him with pencils.
Well... in other news, I've been to the dentist today and had a scale and polish, it always gives me a headache for some reason! And Dylan's front teeth are all chipped at the back, the dentist said I was very observant to notice that as she had missed it, she says it's very rare and has something to do with his bite, and with milk teeth being softer they are easy to chip. Luckily there aren't the same nerves in milk teeth so he's in no pain, and as they're chipped at the back you can't tell unless you look right in his mouth! I've also heard nothing about my chipped window, I'm so angry!! Add that to the fact that my Magnolia Summer Kit never arrived and I've had to put in a claim to the Paypal resolution centre for a rubbish craft shop who doesn't post out goods and doesn't reply to emails, this week has not been much better than last week!! But at least I have some lovely clean carpets, so that's something I suppose ha ha!!
Anyway, I'll stop being a Moaning Minnie now and pop off! Thanks for looking as always!
Love Becky xx
