Cute Daisy May and My Time to Craft

Hi everyone! Firstly, I must apologise for my absence from the land of Blog! The weather has just been so nice I've been unable to drag myself inside to sit at the computer! We've kitted the back garden out with table and chairs, sand pit and loungers and we've all been having a lovely time in the sun!

I'll get around to returning comments throughout the week, I hate being behind on leaving my comments, it always makes me feel so rude!!

Anyway, onto my first challenge card for Cute Daisy May where the theme this week is embossing. The DT cards are really beautiful, please do have a look if you have the time!

I embossed directly onto the card using a Cuttlebug embossing folder and then did a little bit of inking to add definition. I used my Fiskars threading water punch again and then simply added some flowers and ribbon to decorate! This is one of my favourite Daisy May images from sheet 21.

And now onto the challenge this week at My Time to Craft which is 'Father's Day'. I love these challenges which help you to get your cards done in plenty of time! I made this card for Dylan to give to his Grandad.

I used an image from the Dottie and George downloads and coloured George with Pro Markers and then added shading with pencils. I used papers from a Basic Grey boxer pad (I thought the light green paper looked like cauliflowers!) Dylan loves to help his Grandad with the gardening and came home on Friday with a bag of radishes bless him!

Well... that's it for me, this might be my only post for this week but I'll be around to comment and catch up with you all!

Have a great week!

Love Becky xx

Gorgeous card Becky, Grandad will love it. Dont think your the only ones who's negelcted their computer this week. Be mad to make the most of this fantastic weather. Back to normal from tomorrow though, such a shame, but at least we should all be crafting a little more. Enjoy the rest of your week

Hi Becky!

I really love the Father's Day card. You did a fabulous job on the colouring. And the colours are great for a masculine card and for the gardener at heart. Thanks for sharing and thanks again for stopping by my blog. I know how hard it can be to keep up with the comments. Enjoy your week!
