Here's a little extra for this week, I'm hoping to get back into blogging a bit more... we'll see!
Over on Clare Curd's Signature Range Blog they have a technique challenge to make your own flowers. I bought some of the clear stamps from the range so thought I would have a go at the challenge.
I decided to use the paisley stamp to hopefully create what should look like a Crocus style flower, I don't think I've ever seen a flower with button antennas though ha ha!! All the stamps are from the same range, and the cardstock used was Docrafts Coredinations and coloured with Lyra Aquacolours.
I decided to do another one this afternoon, I liked the first one but the yellow wasn't really to my taste, I prefer the colours on this one. My flowers are simply made using the clear stamps with some card candy popped on top. All the stamps are from the same range.
I'm having a bit of trouble with inky fingers whilst making this type of card, I think it's because the ink is drying slower on the Bazzill card stock so I think I'll have to emboss them before I tear my hair out he he!!
A bit of a different style for me, I'm experimenting at the moment...
Love Becky xx
