Thanks to everyone who joined us last week at the Penny Black Saturday Challenge for our 'Funky Christmas' challenge, hoping to see you all again this week for our challenge which is 'No Patterned Paper'.
Here is the card I made for the challenge this week, I must apologise for the photo quality, I took a snap and then sent it to my friend, then when I uploaded it, it was not as I'd expected it to be! So sorry about that!!
I decided to try to do something exciting with an embossing folder for this challenge. I embossed onto black card, and as it didn't have a white core to sand down I rubbed over the embossing with a white crayon.
I stitched around the outside with some silver cross stitch thread and added my Penny Black teddy and a magnolia sentiment. The teddy was coloured simply with 'Poppy' and 'Cool Grey 2' Pro Markers but I really liked the effect!
I hope all your Christmas preparations are coming along nicely. I got loads of shopping done on Thursday night and it wasn't busy at all so it was very relaxing and stress free, I'm quite impressed with how easy this year's preparations seem to have gone (so far of course!!)
Love Becky xx
