My Time to Craft Challenge - Blue!

Here is my card for the challenge this week over at My Time to Craft where the theme is blue! The only other colour you are allowed is white (but you can use black if you cheat a little!) I tried to stick to just blue and white so I decided to do something with snowflakes. I embossed some blue bazzill card with my Cuttlebug snowflakes embossing folder and then sanded over the embossing to reveal the white core of the paper. I then triple embossed some chipboard squares using Debbi Moore embossing powder (my favorite brand!) and when the embossing powder was still tacky I pressed in my Doodlebog clear alphabet stamps to create the 'snow' letters. I finally added some glitter and a tied velvet ribbon.
Here is another photo so you can see the dimension of the letters.
Hope you like my card, something a little bit different for today!! Sorry I've not been around much this week, and sorry for not visiting everyone, I will be back real soon I promise!!

Love Becky xx

Oh love this card Becky! Very different from you other work but it's gorgeous again. Love the letters! I'm not a huge fan of using embossing powder. I use a lighter to melt the powder (because I don't have anything else to do it with) and have set fire to stamped images two times already :S. Husband doesn't like embossing powder either ;).
