Sketch and Stash and Pollycraft Challenges

Hi Everyone!

I'm back today with two challenge cards, the first being this fortnight's sketch from Sketch and Stash...

And here is the card I have made...

For my card I have used all neglected stash... I have had this Whiff of Joy stamped image for a while and finally got round to using it, and the PaperMania papers were bought in the sale a while back for £1 but I bought so many that I haven't used them until now! And the ribbon was purchased from the NEC about 2 years ago and I found it in a drawer the other week whilst having a sort out (how bad is that!!) Please have a look at the Design Team's cards if you have the time, they've done a fabulous job once again!

And secondly here is my card for the Pollycraft Challenge which is Christmas!! And here is my card...

I printed out my Pollycraft image and then picked up some Lettuce and Red Pepper Adirondak ink on some cut and dry foam and blended them together (I'm learning so it's by no means perfect!!) Then I coloured in the image with ProMarkers and highlighted with a white pen. The background was then stamped with a Forever Friend's snowflake stamp using Tim Holtz clear distress ink and then covered with white embossing powder. Then finally I added some little gems to the centre on the snowflakes and went around the edge again with cut and dry and lettuce ink. Check out the cards from the girls, they really are fantastic!!

Well, a little bit of what's been happening around here... Dylan is doing really well at school and is enjoying it so much at the moment. I'm also going late night shopping with my bestest mate on Thursday night to have a look at the lights and have a hot chocolate (oh and do a bit of shopping!!) so I'm looking forward to that! I'm planning on wrapping up all the presents next Tuesday (well it will be December by then!!) and I've also started a 4 week diet which I do every year before Christmas to counteract the huge weight gain over the festive season ha ha!!

Anyway, I'll pop off now and let you all get on. Have a great day whatever you are doing!!

Love Becky xx

Wow, your coloring (shouldn't even be called that) puts me to shame. I thought I was pretty good until I looked at you and the rest of the DT on the Sketch & Stash blog. I'm definitely going to put into practice some of the techniques I've seen. Of course, I'm using Prisma Color pencils, but I like it, because I was able to afford all 132 colors. With any of the pens, I wouldn't have very many. Hopefully I'll keep growing.
