Pollycraft Sweet Dreams Christmas Kit...

Hi Everyone!

I've just popped on to let you know about a new release from Pollycraft called Sweet Christmas Dreams and it's a very special kit as it includes 3 digital stamps and 8 co-ordinating beautiful papers...

And in a weird coincidence I just finished off 3 cards this morning as I had a bit of inspiration whilst watching QVC's craft day...

I fancied doing a bit of heat embossing so the twirly coil and the 'Joy' are all raised in real life...

And I decorated the inside too, again with a heat embossed sentiment (I have to thank my Best Friend Arline for the beautiful flowers and brads which I've used on all the cards)...

And here's another card this time using an off-centre gatefold shaped card which I just folded myself...

Again I heat embossed the sentiment...

And here is a view of the inside and the small side panel of the card (all the papers on these cards are from the kit)...

And here is my final card... this time I decided to do a fold-back card...

Ooh this card photographed really arty... focused girl with slightly out of focus sentiment (anyone want to sign me up for Vogue ha ha!!!) Don't know how that happened but bet I couldn't do it again!!

And another view just so you can see the fold of the card...

And in other news it's been a day of highs and lows here... began with a low when I got to the checkout at Sainsbury's and realised that I'd left my purse at home cause I'd bought something online last night and had got my purse out of my bag for my Credit Card... and with me being a person who doesn't like fuss I quietly walked back around the store, put everything back and calmly walked out feeling a little bit like a loon ha ha!!

But then we had our first parent's evening and it went really well... they basically told us what we already know... just that Dylan needs to mix a bit more... he stands around supervising the play but doesn't have the inclination to actually join in!! He's getting better though and was playing a bit more today so they think he'll get there (it's only been 2 weeks remember!!)

Going to school is hungry work don't you know!!

Until next time...

Love Becky xx

Lovely cards Becky and I love the pic of Dylan its great! Ria used to stand aside at first, it was like she was making sure she knew exactly what to do and expect and how to get out of the situation if it was needed and needless to say she is fine now, but so glad he is settling well. xx

Hi Becky, what absolutely fabulous cards, love all the folds and just adore the 2nd card the gate fold one, just gorgeous!
Bless you re the Sainsbury incident, I wanted to pop to the PO today after work, needed stamps for overseas cards, lucky I checked my bag caus I'd got the cards but not my purse doh......!!
Great news about Dylan and it's good that he's now settling in and joining in more. I'm still getting lots of tears from Hollie, even this afternoon at ballet! I know from experience though that she is fine within a few minutes of leaving her; but it's now starting to craze me a bit!
Love the piccie of Dylan with his bread, must be something to do with fresh bread, both my 2 and my nephews do the same!!!
Had a feel of my parcel but still no wiser, can't wait until Saturday when I can open it lol!!!
Take care,
Joanne x

Don't worry too much about Dylan, my youngest was a bit like this but settled down in no time and I'm sure Dylan will too! Love that photo by the way, are you looking to change careers by any chance? LOL!

Hi Becky. Hope you are well. You have been a busy beaver, creating awesome cards. Love them all! Hubby and I went out last night to celebrate our 20th Wedding Anniversary, and he almost forgot his wallet.... How embarrassing would that have been!! Dylan looks happy munching away on the bread stick! Keep well, and look after yourself. Lou x

That is a lovely kit and I like your cards. I nearly bought petrol the other day but luckily didn't as I didn't have any money on me at all having used my purse to buy something online!

Cute picture.
