My Cards From My Craft Night!!

I decided to have a craft night last night as I've not done much crafting lately. It was so much fun and I was amazed because I didn't get in too much of a mess!!
My first card is for the Whiff of Joy Challenge which is a sketch, I had to get my card in quick because the new challenge is set tomorrow and I really wanted to be in with a chance of the prize as I so love these stamps! I got my first order delivered yesterday in super quick time, I got this stamp which I just love and the little girl with the cat as I just love cats!! I decided to colour her with distress inks and chose some lovely warm autumnal colours, I love leaving areas white when colouring, I picked up this tip from studying the Manga drawings on the Pro Marker packets. I've made this card for my friend Arline (Arlz) as we always meet up for a hot chocolate ever since we were at Uni together, it's a bit of a tradition now! The Friend sentiment is from Clever Cut and the rub-ons are Doodlebug which I love!

Here is the next card I made with this gorgeous little Wizard download from Dinky Dots. This card is for the Tilda and Friends ATC Challenge where you are asked to add your ATC onto something, I chose a card. I think AJ Wizard is one of my favourites from the range because I love all the detail, and he makes the perfect card for a little boy or girl who's into Harry Potter. I coloured his with Pro Markers and again used Doodlebug Rub-ons. The papers are from a Forever Friends stack and I added wire, brads and doodles.

My next card is for Sketch Saturday and I really like this sketch, I wasn't sure how I would use the turned square at first but I really like the effect. I used a stamp which has been in my box for a while, not sure who the maker is though!! I coloured the image with Pro Markers and tried to choose country colours. I added Prima flowers, patterned paper from a Forever Friends stack and lots of brads! The sentiment is a Penny Black one.

And here is my final card for Cute Card Thursday which is sparkle. I used this Santa stamp from FunStamps and isn't he fun!! I coloured him with Pro Markers, the Poppy colour is just perfect for Christmas red! My sparkle is this gorgeous ribbon which Tracie sent me a while ago, it looks a bit wavy in the photo, it's a stiff wire so you have to bend it and I think it's bent a bit out of shape lol!!! I finished this card at nearly midnight and so grabbed my peel off box for the sentiment. I know not everyone likes peel offs but I still like them and I think they go nice with this card!

Well, that's the results of my crafting night! Looking forward to hearing what you think! I'll be back later for some much missed blog hopping!!

Love Becky xx

Blimey Becky, you really went for it!!! I like to leave white gaps on my work too, but I now use a white Galaxy Marker to highlight as white paper isn't always white. They all look fab, have a good week!
